This weekend was kind of shitty, all I did was think about Michael (![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) asthmaticbat) and think about how I would rather hang out with him than be doing whatever I was doing. Seriously, I really think Michael is the best friend I have, everytime I'm about to make a desicion in like I think "Would Michael approve?" and I usually go with whatever Michael would approve of, and to tell you the truth, it's really made me a genuinely happier and better person. I get shakey just thinking about him because I'm in such a deep love with him.
If I were to be stuck on an island and had to repopulate the planet with someone, I would choose Michael.
Anyway, back to my weekend.
I went to an art gallery and looked at art. Then I painted a picture. It was a picture of Michael. He looks really good in it, but I'm afraid to show it to him, I think it's the best portrait I've done yet.
Anyway, I have to go to Art college now.

Weekly Update!
It's one of those stay-on-the-internet-and-watch-adult-swim-until-something-happens kind of nights
My hair color is currently red-orange
if you know me well enough you'll know that by red-orange I really mean RED-ORANGE
not that pansy "strawberry blonde" shit
I worked all weekend
which isn't that bad, anymore. I'm getting used to it.
Ami and Minh picked me up on Friday after work, and we rolled around Mike's apartment for a while, and then went up to Silverlake for a little while, which would have been a really cool party except we didn't know anybody. We stole a bunch of Tecate and watched Mean Girls. I passed out around 3 or so in a three-way spoon between Minh and Mike
just the way it should be
Saturday morning I swear to god was the first day of summer
we drove sleeveless with all the windows down
with summer music and summer faces and we talked about all of the days and nights of joyous nothing
like the time we went to the beach with Minh and Cassie and Mike's old girl/Sara's friend Lauren and Christine her asian counterpart and went skinnydipping at night
or the time sunken city was drunken city and we drove through stretched of memory light
anyway
Saturday night I hung out with Mike and David and Kyle and Grace, which was really nice because I never hang out with Mike and David anymore
We sat on Mike's porch in the warm almost-summer air and watched the Life Aquatic on Mike's spiffy little laptop
Kyle provided his hookah rightfully dubbed "The Cobra Commander" and enough coals for us to practice blowing smoke O's
I managed a couple, not bad for a beginner
I made popcorn that me and Mike bought at 7-11 and put it in a big bowl, and we drank lemonade
After the movie Kyle made us smoothies at his house. I drove!
by the way, everyone should pretty much be able to differentiate between the Mikes by now
there are too many Mikes
and two of them happen to be my best friends, besides Sara
which is kind of convenient because if anyone asks me who my closest friends are, I can just say "Sara and Mikes" rather than having to list three names.
But this is a tangent.
Last week was cool!
Guess what I did on Wednesday?
Well, I will just go ahead and tell you, because this will probably end up being a pretty one-sided guessing game.
I went to Mike's after school to watch a little bit of Naruto. Which is always good, anime is.
I visited the other Mike at work on my way home (see, yet another time when it is necessary to know the differences between the two)
Then I was kind of bored, so I picked up Sara! We went to Venice Beach to get empanadas, and she helped me out with some compositional creative differences I'd been having with my mural schematics. It's pretty much worked out, now.
her dad took us all out to dinner at this chinese food place
which was really yummy, even though sara's dad totally hates me and is usually pretty nasty towards me
he was cool, though.
THEN! THEN! THEN!
I wasnt gonna, but I didnt have anything better to do really, so me and Sara drove to Hollywood to a very very special event
The Aquabats! A free private show!!
I didn't see the whole show, we arrived about halfway through the set
but I could pretty much list off the names of every single person in the crowd (except for the weird old music executives sitting in the back and the winos at the bar) there were maybe 20 or so people there! All my closest Aquabat-crazy friends! It was so cool!
I'm not too crazy about their new stuff, but I'm way excited for all the tour dates coming up
we're all thinking of going to the las vegas and arizona tour dates in june, and a bunch of west coast dates in july
I'm totally gonna hit 20 this year!!!
anyway, the free private show was so cool. the MCBC called me sweetheart and drew a love unicorn on my bag
best cult ever!
I'm taking a sleep day off school tomorrow
We're having testing all week long, and while it was very enjoyable hiding out Anne-Frank style in Rainwaters' room with all the homies, I'd prefer not to have to do it all week long.
I did some other stuff this past week
but nothing REALLY exciting
so perhaps if you guys are really good I'll make up a cool story to tell you
or post pictures of my red-orange hair
and by red-orange I really mean RED-ORANGE!
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to make a very important top secret midnight pie run.
